Frank R. Richards has transformed over 40 years of outdoor experience and a 15-year research project into practical, experience-driven guidebooks that educate and inspire canoeing and fishing enthusiasts.

Decades of Exploration & Experience

Over the next three decades, Frank explored waterways across North America, including:

·       The Boundary Waters

·       The Allagash and St. John Rivers (Maine)

·       The Soper River (Baffin Island)

·       Rivers in Arctic Quebec and near James Bay

Through these experiences, he developed a strong foundation in remote canoe travel, navigation, and fishing techniques.
